Embodied Presence – The Wisdom of Rest – a weekend 5 rhythms workshop with Caitríona Nic Ghiollaphádraig
If resting was as important as activity we would all be more at peace with ourselves. We would all prioritise being good to ourselves. Shifting life-long patterns of going, going, going can be a one step forward two steps backward dance, yet giving ourselves time to deeply rest, and embody stillness can improve our health and well-being.
In this workshop, we will move towards rest over and over, as we use the wisdom of the 5 rhythms to guide us towards the art of conscious relaxation.
Caitríona Nic Ghiollaphádraig is a very experienced facilitator/leader of 5 Rhythms movement workshops. She has led workshops throughout the country for many years. Once again, SHEP is delighted to welcome her back to SHEP and to Cork.
When: Sat. 2nd & Sun. 3rd March 2019. 10.00 – 5.00 both days.
Where: The Granary, Bessborough
A Day of Mindful Nourishment – a day-long workshop with Shirley Copeland
Do you set the same health goals every year? Maybe it’s time to try again but from a different starting point and with a softer kinder approach?
Take time out for yourself to gently explore your relationship with food. Begin to transform your relationship with food and explore other ways to feel fulfilled and nourished.
On this day we’ll look at patterns and habits, what triggers us and how we usually respond, how to respond differently.
There will be group activities, short meditation sessions, mindful eating and deep relaxation.
Shirley Copeland has brought together more than 30 years’ experience to help people transform their relationships with food and their bodies. She trained in vegetarian wholefood cooking, complementary therapies and as a Health & Wellness coach. She has taught mindfulness in the kitchen to many people throughout Ireland (including the SHEP Mindfulness Retreat weekends on Cape Clear) and Plum Village, France.
When: Sat. 2nd March 2019. 10.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.
Where: Training Room 1, SHEP Centre, Ballincollig
