Caring For Our Well-Being

Caring for Our Well-being is a well established course which was developed in response to a need in the community for short courses whose particular focus is supporting people to take charge of their own well-being. Most people in their lives have experience of mental and emotional distress. Sometimes, people go through periods of significant distress which affects their health and well-being.

A supportive space where people are facilitated to build their resources and resilience can be very helpful. The course design and content draws on the experience of participants and facilitators from the initial pilot programme in 2013/2014. The course is now one of SHEP’ regular offerings.
