Yes. All personal information is treated in the strictest confidence. Coiscéim Staff – who are all trained counsellors and all Counsellors on the panelare ethically bound to practise in accordance with the Code of Ethics of his/her professional organisation and the ethos and policies of Coiscéim. Where does the counselling take place?

Coiscéim Counsellors are based in different locations throughout Cork, City & County as well as in Kerry. Our referral counsellor will discuss your preferred location with you when completing the referral. [...]

How quickly will I be seen?

Due to demand on the service it can take up to six weeks to match you with your counsellor. In cases of extreme urgency we endeavour to complete the referral as quickly as possible. The degree of urgency will be assessed by the Referral Counsellor during consultation with you. [...]

How do I make an appointment?

Please call reception on 021 466-6180, or alternatively contact us by email: coisceim@socialandhealth.com Your name and number will be taken and your query will be responded to as soon as possible. Following this, one of our Referral Counsellors will contact you to complete an assessment in order to refer you to a suitable counsellor. How much does it cost?

Coiscéim counsellors operate a sliding scale of fees. The fee you will pay the counsellor directly is set in discussion with the Coiscéim Referral Counsellor and is based on your ability to pay. Coiscéim commit to subsidising up to 10 sessions. [...]
