Below you will find copies of various reports on the programme in South West Nepal:
An independent evaluation of the programme was conducted by independent consultant, Mal Simmons, in 2010 and again in 2013. During the 2013 evaluation, Mal and his team interviewed a total of 348 people over a period of 3 weeks. A copy of both evaluation reports can be found below.
A monitoring team from Irish Aid visited the project in 2010. The team was impressed with the in-depth community development approach used and by the contribution made by Sahakarmi Samaj to addressing complex social, economic and health issues in the Bardiya and Kanchanpur districts.
In 2009, a group of SHEP employees undertook to visit Sahakarmi Samaj in Nepal to see first-hand the changes that Sahakarmi Samaj’s work is making to marginalised communities. Below is a copy of a report compiled as a result of that trip. SHEP employees are also planning to undertake a second trip in November 2014.
