SHEP Foundation Courses (Personal Development/Social Awareness & Community Empowerment)
Looking for to get to know yourself better is a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment? Or are you interested in exploring key issues in how community and society works? Our unique, experiential courses have something different to offer. In this section we offer information on three courses all of which are based experiential learning using a group work approach: SHEP's Certificate in Personal Development; SHEP's Certificate in Social Awareness & Community Empowerment; and the SHEP Certificate in Continuing Personal Development.

UCC Diploma in Social and Psychological Health Studies
SHEP has collaborated for over ten years with UCC's Department of Adult Continuing Education to offer a two-year part-time level 7 Diploma in Social and Psychologicial Health Studies.

Short Courses - Community Education for Health & Well-being
SHEP's Community Education For Health & Well-being programme offers a range of short courses - ususally offered two hours per week over eight or ten weeks. These courses are delivered by SHEP trained community tutors.

SHEP Trainers and SHEP Community Tutors
SHEP is supported to deliver the core training programme by a panel of highly skilled and experienced SHEP trainers. Our Community Education for Health & Well-being programme is delivered in the community by a large panel of SHEP-trained community tutors.
