A free event to explore the benefits of advocacy for adults with disabilities, mental health issues and difficulties associated with ageing will be held on 7th October 2009 at Jury's Hotel, Western Road, Cork between 10am and 2pm. Presentations and discussions will include:

• different types of advocacy
• how to get the best out of advocacy
• mental capacity legislation
