Cork Advocacy Service provides free independent confidential advocacy to people with disabilities, mental health issues and difficulties associated with ageing.

The service provides a full time advocate who is supported by a team of trained volunteer advocates. 

The service can provide information and support on rights and entitlements in relation to health services, housing, social welfare, employment,education etc.

The advocate will listen carefully, provide information, assist people to speak up for themselves, assist in filling out forms, writing letters and if required accompany and represent a person at meetings and appointments.
